The UBC Storage Grid (USG) is a fully-managed storage solution. It provides "on demand", scalable storage based on multiple storage sites. Data transfer to and from the grid is done over secure links through the UBC network, and data may be stored in multiple locations, for added disaster protection.
This service is available to all UBC faculties and research groups through your designated network administrator. It is not available on a single-user basis, nor is it available to students or for use outside the UBC community.

A yearly service agreement is standard for the UBC Storage Grid; however, UBC IT is flexible in accommodating temporary space and peak period requirements.
