UBC’s Information Technology department has many initiatives underway, and information about large projects will be regularly posted to our website. Our initiatives and related projects fall into two broad categories: Transformation Initiative and Strategic or Large Operational Projects. Transformational projects impact across UBC, and are intended to help Departments and Faculties find opportunities to use technology to enable teaching and research, and to leverage resources across campus to improve effectiveness.Strategic or large Operational Projects create or improve services utilized by the campus community.
